NSW Scout Uniform Decision
Chief Commissioner Grant De Fries issued a letter to all Members of Scouts Australia NSW regarding the Scout Uniform. There will be a transition period until the end of February 2010.

Scouts benefit from Dick Smith's risk-taking campaign
Scouts Australia today received a donation from adventurer and entrepreneur Dick Smith and his wife Pip of one million dollars. Dick and Pip presented the cheque to John Ravenhall, Chief Commissioner of Scouts Australia, at Scout Place at Circular Quay in Sydney.

All Youth Members, Leaders, and their families are invited to celebrate with Scouts Australia NSW at the Royal Easter Show on Saturday April 18, 2009. Purchase your tickets through Scouts to receive a 25% discount. Come along on the day and join in the Street Parade at 1 pm, as well as experience FREE Scout activities at the Overflow. Mittagong Scouts recognises local contibutors and supporters of Scouting.
In a ceremony which coincided with the 2009 AGM, local businesses and long time Scouting members were presented with a certificate and a collector's "Centenary of Scouting Scarf".
